For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to tell stories. I chose a different path at first, but when I became a mother I re-discovered the enchanting world of picture books and fell in love with rhyme.
My first book was written for my son, about our family dog... who truly did grow up in a castle! We live in Switzerland, and one of our favourite mountain villages inspired the story.

Tommy is a freelance illustrator living and working in Brighton, UK.
He's worked with Phonics Readers Publishing House, Ty Jaouen Stories and best selling author Harrison Perry to name a few.
Tommy beautifully brought this story to life with his unique style, humour, and eye for detail. I look forward to working with him on future books!

Paula grew up in Germany and lived the first four years of her life in a castle, as the beloved pet of a baroness. When she needed a new home, my husband and I adopted her and relocated her to Switzerland to live with us. She has since learned to love the mountains and her new, slightly simpler lifestyle.
